Título: History Teaching and Artificial Intelligence: Possibilities and Challenges in the Construction of Historical Consciousness

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória; History Teaching; Education; Digital Technologies; Teacher Training.

Páginas: 127

Resumo: The growing presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in contemporary society has led to significant transformations in the ways knowledge is produced and disseminated, directly impacting the field of education. In History teaching, these changes are particularly relevant, as they involve processes of interpretation, narrative construction, and the development of historical consciousness. In this context, this dissertation aims to analyze the possibilities and challenges of using Artificial Intelligence in History teaching, seeking to understand its pedagogical implications and to propose strategies for its critical use. The research is guided by the following problem: how can Artificial Intelligence be used in History teaching in a critical and pedagogical way, contributing to the development of students’ historical consciousness? Methodologically, this is a qualitative, applied research based on bibliographic review and the development of a pedagogical product. As a result, a training material for teachers is proposed, especially for History teachers, but also applicable to other subject areas. The product aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidelines for the use of AI in teaching, promoting a critical and reflective approach. It is expected to contribute to teacher education and to the development of pedagogical practices aligned with contemporary demands.

Título: The representation of Luiz Gama in the structured system textbooks used by state schools in the state of Mato Grosso

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória; Luiz Gama; History teaching; textbook; Decolonialism

Páginas: 108

Resumo: This study aims to analyze the representation of Luiz Gama in the History textbooks for the 8th grade of Elementary School and the 3rd year of High School of the Structured Teaching System of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), used in the state network of Mato Grosso in 2025, as well as in the 8th grade textbook of the Projeto Araribá collection, distributed by the National Textbook Program (PNLD), edition (2022–2025). The research aims to understand how the protagonism of this important figure in the abolitionist process is presented to students, considering his presence, the silences and forms of marginalization, in the context of Law No. 10.639/03. The research is based on a qualitative, documentary approach, guided by a decolonial perspective. In this sense, the research sought to engage with the ideas of Aníbal Quijano, Walter Mignolo, and Catherine Walsh, who discuss the coloniality of power and knowledge, articulated with Stuart Hall's concept of representation, Kabengele Munanga's reflections on racism, and Circe Bittencourt's contributions to the analysis of teaching materials. The results of the analysis of these materials showed that, although Luiz Gama is present in the analyzed materials, his approach is secondary, frequently restricted to supplementary sections, with little analytical depth and reduced problematization of his political and intellectual activity. This configuration reveals the persistence of a Eurocentric historical narrative, which contributes to the marginalization of Black protagonism in the teaching of History. It is concluded that the implementation of Law No. 10,639/03 still faces limitations in the context of teaching materials, and it is necessary to revise these narratives from a decolonial perspective that recognizes historically invisibilized subjects and contributes to the construction of an anti-racist education.

Título: OS ESTUDANTES QUILOMBOLAS E A LEI 10.639/03 NA ESCOLA ESTADUAL CÍVICO-MILITAR PROFª ANA TEREZA ALBERNAZ EM CHAPADA DOS GUIMARÃES, MT

Título: Video documentary in history education: the CLT turns 80 — discover its history

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória; History Teaching; Video Documentaries; Historical Consciousness; Labor Laws; Getúlio Vargas Period.

Páginas: 100

Resumo: This dissertation, developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Program in History Teaching (ProfHistória) at UNEMAT, investigates the contributions of using video documentaries as historical sources in history education. Faced with the challenges of a hyper-connected generation and overcoming traditional teaching based on the passive memorization of skills and competencies, the research is qualitative with an interventional approach. The thematic focus encompasses the history of labor relations in Brazil, using as an object of analysis the institutional documentary The CLT Turns 80: Know the History, produced by the Superior Labor Court (TST). The theoretical-methodological foundation is based on the dialogical methodology of Paulo Freire and Mikhail Bakhtin, the concept of historical consciousness by Jörn Rüsen, and discussions on audiovisual representation by Sandra Jatahy Pesavento. The research conducts a critical analysis of current curricular regulations, especially the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), questioning its pacifying approach and the reduction of teacher autonomy. In the historiographical field, the text deconstructs the myth of Getúlio Vargas as the “father of the poor”, demonstrating that the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) in 1943 was the result of intense prior workers' struggles and a strong corporatist control strategy of the Estado Novo (New State). The result is a Pedagogical Product in the form of a Guiding Guide. This material proposes a structured didactic sequence to equip teachers with the critical decoding of the audiovisual source. The activities lead students to question the intentions of the video documentary and to compare past labor achievements with contemporary challenges imposed by the 2017 Labor Reform, such as precarious work and “uberization”. It concludes that problematizing the audiovisual source allows students to become active subjects, capable of understanding social rights as continuous and fundamental achievements for the exercise of their citizenship.

Título: Teaching Indigenous History at the Federal Institute - Pontes e Lacerda Campus “Western Border”: Mini-courses with Chiquitano and Nambiquara Knowledge

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória, Teaching of Indigenous History, Nambiquara, Chiquitano

Páginas: 108

Resumo: This dissertation, presented to the Professional Graduate Program in History Teaching (ProfHistória), investigates the implementation of Law 11.645/2008 through pedagogical actions carried out by the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Mato Grosso – Pontes e Lacerda Campus, with a focus on minicourses developed in partnership with the Chiquitano and Nambiquara Indigenous communities. The teaching of Indigenous History serves as the starting point for these minicourses, specifically analyzing their structure and how they can act as a catalyst for intercultural debates and actions that integrate the entire school community. The study examines two minicourses, “Body Painting” and “Production of Bows and Arrows,” conducted between 2023 and 2024 in collaboration with the Indigenous communities. The research is grounded in authors who discuss History teaching, particularly Indigenous History, integrating the premises of Social History with contributions from Anthropology and Ethnography, enabling an understanding and description of the formative processes resulting from these minicourses. The research is participatory, based on direct involvement in the actions, observations, ethnographic records, and documentary analysis, which allows a deeper understanding of the activities carried out with the Indigenous communities. The results indicate that the minicourses “Body Painting” and “Production of Bows and Arrows” significantly contributed to the learning of traditional practices, worldviews, culture, and social organization of the Chiquitano and Nambiquara peoples, broadening the understanding of students and teachers about Indigenous knowledge. These actions have been pivotal in the effective implementation of Law 11.645/2008 in the local school context. As an educational product, a descriptive guide was developed on the design and execution of the minicourses, intended for teachers and school administrators as support material for creating, adapting, and implementing new pedagogical actions that integrate Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities into the teaching and learning process of History.

Título: Memory, Identity, and Territory: Dialoguing with Rikbaktsa Knowledge

Palavras-chave: Culture; Memory; Identity; History Teaching; ProfHistória.

Páginas: 198

Resumo: This dissertation, entitled Memory, Identity, and Territory: Dialoguing with Rikbaktsa Knowledge, is part of the research line Languages and Historical Narratives: Production and Dissemination of the Master’s and Doctoral Program in History Teaching – ProfHistória, and of the Study and Research Group Fronteiras: History, Education, Work, Heritage, and Memory. Its main objective is to understand the memory narratives of Rikbaktsa elders and teachers, their knowledge and cultural ancestries, and to connect them with existing records in order to disseminate this people’s history within the teaching of history. Education in Brazil is constantly undergoing structural transformations and seeks to meet the needs of increasingly diverse social groups, among them Indigenous peoples. From the Indigenous perspective, history is marked by conflicts with European invaders, and even today it remains a major challenge. With research focused on memory, identity, and territorial relations, and by recognizing the cultural meaning and identity of the Rikbaktsa people—also known as “Orelhas de Pau” or “Canoeiros”—this dissertation situates them in the northwestern region of Mato Grosso, specifically in the Juruena River basin, with Indigenous lands located in the municipalities of Brasnorte (TI Erikpatsa), Cotriguaçu (TI Escondido), and Juara (TI Japuíra). Indigenous peoples have inhabited this region for centuries, and many were forced to leave their traditional territories or were decimated by diseases and violence caused by invasions, both in the past and in more recent times. The choice of focusing on the Rikbaktsa is justified by the richness of their history and the urgent need to document their memories, especially in light of the increasing influence of non-Indigenous culture and the interference in their traditions. The methodology is grounded in oral history, through interviews designed to revisit and recall the memories and knowledge of Rikbaktsa elders and teachers, complemented by bibliographical and documentary research. This study highlights the importance of listening to Indigenous voices—historically silenced—and of constructing narratives that reflect their experiences and perspectives, drawing on authors who address education, identity, and memory. The outcome is both a study material and a documentary that preserve Rikbaktsa memory and promote intercultural dialogue, with the aim of valuing Indigenous perspectives on regional history. It explores narratives about contact with colonizers, the impacts of exploitation, and Rikbaktsa resistance, while emphasizing the importance of land, culture, and language for the community. In this sense, history teaching can become more engaging and meaningful in schools, establishing connections between what is already defined in books and by non-Indigenous knowledge, and the perspectives and lived experiences of Indigenous peoples. This work also reflects an interest in understanding power relations and social inequalities through a critical lens on the history and culture of Indigenous peoples.

Título: History Teacher Narratives in Decolonial Pedagogy: Pathways to an Antiracist Education

Palavras-chave: Keywords: Coloniality, decoloniality, racism, antiracism.

Páginas: 107

Resumo: This dissertation is focused on the field of History Teaching and fulfills the requirements of the Professional Master's Program in History Teaching (ProfHistória). The research aims to analyze the narratives of History teachers in order to promote an antiracist and decolonial pedagogical practice, in the context of resistance against coloniality, through a decolonial perspective and its repercussions on the structuring and creation of historical knowledge in basic education. Considering that public schools are social spaces with multiple demands, reflecting on these complexities within Basic Education, combined with a decolonization perspective of the school curriculum, is crucial for an education oriented towards ethnic-racial relations. Therefore, by proposing to analyze the narratives of History teachers, this study seeks to understand how the organization and transmission of historical knowledge in schools reflect power relations, how this structure shapes the school environment, and what challenges teachers face in implementing a decolonial and antiracist pedagogy in basic education. The research adopts a qualitative approach based on Oral History, as it aligns with the investigative nature and specific objectives of this study. Interviews were conducted with three female and two male History teachers from public basic education schools in the city of Cáceres, in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The analysis is guided by the central research question, employing a set of interpretative practices. The research is grounded in the concept of concrete totality, where the participants’ narratives are not treated in isolation but as part of a whole—situated manifestations of historical, social, and epistemic processes. Thus, the categories of analysis emerged both from the theoretical framework and from the teachers' narratives themselves. Analyzing these narratives allows for the construction of alternative practices and knowledge that deconstruct and replace coloniality. Moreover, identifying the potentials and limitations of these processes enables the understanding, revision, and improvement of existing practices, as well as the development of new strategies to confront structural and school-based racism.   Keywords: Coloniality, decoloniality, racism, antiracism.

Título: FAKE NEWS E ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA: PRODUÇÃO DO CONHECIMENTO E O DESAFIO DA CONSCIÊNCIA HISTÓRICA

Título: Teaching History, symbolic narrative and imaginary: the legend of the Minhocão de Cáceres/MT

Palavras-chave: TEACHING HISTORY, SYMBOLIC NARRATIVE, IMAGINARY, LEGEND

Páginas: 111

Resumo: The central purpose of the research is to understand the potential of symbolic narratives in History teaching. In this sense, we analyze legends and myths as pedagogical tools. We present the concepts of legend and myth from the Human and Social Sciences with the intention of dispelling the notion that these two concepts are synonymous. The following questions guide the research: why would it be relevant to work on this topic in the teaching of History in Basic Education? What do already published research propose on the topic? In what educational guidelines can this thematic proposal be anchored? How does Seduc-MT Structured Material address legends and myths? Two methodological approaches will make it possible to value students' tacit knowledge by bringing popular knowledge to the classroom based on legends narrated by elders: the “investigative thematic unit”, based on the propositions of Schmidt and Fernandes (2007), and the method ethnographic approach of “seeing, listening and writing”, proposed by Oliveira (2011). We chose as a focus to analyze the historicity and sociocultural dimension of the popular legend of Minhocão, a legend known by residents of the municipality of Cáceres/MT.

Título: RACISM IN FOOTBALL AND HISTORY TEACHING: POSSIBILITIES FOR DEVELOPING AN ANTI-RACIST EDUCATION

Palavras-chave: Racism in soccer; History education; ProfHistória.

Páginas: 108

Resumo: Racism in Brazil has historical roots in the formation of Brazilian society and in the racial theories of the 19th century. Within this context, a negative perception of the Black population developed, portraying them as inferior and dehumanized in relation to white people. We understand this process as responsible for the origin of structural racism in Brazil. The introduction of football in Brazil at the end of the 19th century did not occur uniformly across social classes. Initially, the sport served as a mechanism of social distinction between the bourgeoisie and the working classes. In this scenario, the objective of this research is to understand how History teaching can foster antiracist education through the analysis of racism cases in Brazilian men's football. To this end, we analyze five cases of racism in Brazilian football that occurred in 2022, reported by the “Observatory of Racial Discrimination in Football” (UFRGS), as well as how these cases were covered by different online newspapers in Brazil. This is a bibliographic and documentary study, using a qualitative approach for data analysis. The theoretical framework is based on decolonial studies, aiming to understand the cases of racism in football and their relationship with History teaching for the development of antiracist education, with a focus on Law 10.639/03. The school is one of the spaces that legitimizes knowledge and is among the most powerful institutions for transforming society. Therefore, we believe that through the development of antiracist education, we can build a more empathetic and respectful society. The analysis of the cases showed that episodes of racism in football are treated in isolation and that, in most cases, clubs limit themselves to issuing statements of repudiation, without demonstrating a real commitment to combating racism, which hinders progress in this process. For this reason, it is essential that the fight against racism be carried out collectively, aiming for its effectiveness within the sports environment.

Título: THE HISTORICAL TRAJECTORY OF THE INTERCULTURAL INDIGENOUS FACULTY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE STATE OF MATO GROSSO – FAINDI/UNEMAT

Palavras-chave: ProfHistory. Faindi. Indigenous School Education.

Páginas: 112

Resumo: This dissertation study is about the Intercultural Indigenous Faculty (FAINDI) of the State University of Mato Grosso – UNEMAT, and aims to analyze the historical trajectory of FAINDI, and its importance for indigenous school education in Mato Grosso. The offer of a specific and differentiated education for the training of indigenous teachers, permeates the historical process of creating the Intercultural Indigenous Faculty (FAIND), in the analysis of the Specific Degree course for teacher training, Social Sciences, in the context of Indigenous School Education . Throughout this dissertation work we will address the History of FAINDI and its importance on the national scene, and how Indigenous School Education developed from ILO Convention No. 169, and the 1988 Constitution. In addition to legal frameworks such as LDBEN, RCNEI /98, and the National Plan for Indigenous School Education (PNEEI, 2009). The dissertation is based on bibliographical and documentary research based on the theoretical-methodological references of Indigenous School Education, combined with the analysis of authors such as Barros (2005), Cunha (2012), Grupioni (1995) and Luciano (2006), as well as to relevant legislation and resolutions, Law 9394/96, Law 11,645/08, CNE/CP Resolution No. 1 of 2015 and BNCC, elements that contribute to a writing that aims to present interesting perspectives on the History of FAINDI. Based on these bases, it is possible to reflect on the professional qualifications of these educators, considering their cultural specificities and the need for training that promotes the appreciation of the ethnic-cultural diversity present in indigenous schools. It is essential to establish an analysis between the teaching curriculum of Social and Human Sciences at the Intercultural Indigenous College, with the reality of indigenous school teaching, analyzing the teaching material used by teachers, and the expected result of this work will be the creation of a page within the FAINDI/UNEMAT website with information on how to enter, entrance exams, courses offered, in easy-to-understand language and also in partnership with UNEMAT and SEDUC to create a printed guide, to be sent to all indigenous schools in Mato Grosso.

Título: ENTRE DIRETRIZES E PRÁTICAS: O LUGAR DA HISTÓRIA DE MATO GROSSO NO MATERIAL DIDÁTICO ESTRUTURADO

Título: SINGING HISTORY: MUSIC IN THE CLASSROOM AS A PEDAGOGICAL FACILITATING TOOL IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF HISTORICAL CONSCIOUSNESS

Palavras-chave: Teaching History; Music; Historical consciousness

Páginas: 124

Resumo: The research addresses the use of music as a pedagogical resource in the classroom, aiming to facilitate the construction of historical awareness in students. It explores how music can enrich the learning process, engaging students creatively and providing a deeper and more meaningful understanding of history. The study discusses effective strategies for incorporating music into history teaching, highlighting its benefits in promoting critical thinking and emotional connection with historical events. The analysis highlights the importance of an educational environment that values interdisciplinarity and cultural diversity, enhancing music as a powerful pedagogical tool to improve students' historical awareness. To this end, it is essential that we investigate the historical trajectory of transformations in History teaching in Brazil. This analysis will allow us to understand the implementation of each modification, identifying the circumstances in which they occurred and their connection with the specific political contexts of each era. Only in this way can we achieve a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of teaching over time and the new tools that can be used in the teaching-learning process. Using music as a facilitating resource in the history subject can be a valuable stimulus for students. Using music as a didactic-pedagogical instrument in Basic Education to teach history can prove to be highly effective and captivating. This approach can make historical concepts more accessible by providing a way for students to connect with past events and contexts.

Título: Coluna Prestes em Barra do Bugres: Usos do Patrimônio Histórico-Cultural no Ensino de História Local

Palavras-chave: Profhistória. Ensino de história. Memorialista. História Local. Coluna Prestes.

Título: SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT CANDOMBLÉ IN THE STATE SCHOOL DR. “JOAQUIM AUGUSTO DA COSTA MARQUES” / ARAPUTANGA-MT

Palavras-chave: Teaching History, Social Representations, Candomblé

Páginas: 74

Resumo: To approach Candomblé, it is necessary to study this religion, in order to change the preconceived view that society has about this and other beliefs of Afro-Brazilian matrices. The most important thing is also that, when talking about or studying a certain people, it is necessary to understand their religion, because there is no way to do this study separately. In this sense, this dissertation will address Candomblé, considered as one of the legacies of the “religious pantheon organized according to the jeje-nagô cultural model” (MUUNANGA, 2007, p.94). We will use existing bibliographies and other forms of narratives produced by teachers and students at the school where I teach. With this, thinking about teaching strategies of Afro-Brazilian and African history through candomblé, focusing on the fight against religious intolerance and, consequently, structural racism, aiming at the following objectives: · Understand how the religions of African origins were approached, or not, in the teaching of history throughout its trajectory; · Analyze Laws 10,639/03 and 11,645/05 and their contributions to the teaching of History, as well as legal and legal provisions such as PCNs, Curricular Guidelines and Guidelines and the BNCC; · Combat religious intolerance, problematize the concepts of racism and ethnic identity. In this sense, in the first chapter of the dissertation, entitled "Teaching History: juridical-legal devices that guide the teaching of African history and Afro-Brazilian culture", it will be discussed about the school in which I worked in your PPP, the teaching of History and the curriculum, seeking to analyze how Afro-Brazilian culture is placed in this curriculum, and also the legislation that supports it. In the second chapter, "Social representations about Candomblé at Escola Estadual Dr. "Joaquim Augusto da Costa Marques"/Araputanga-MT", has the proposal to work with the social representations about Candomblé produced by teachers and students of elementary school. knowledge about Candomblé based on authors who research on the subject, with the intention that it is a support material for the knowledge of school teachers.

Título: Teaching History and History of Canarana-MT: Experiences of Migrants and the History of the Place (1960-1972)

Palavras-chave: Teaching of History. Oral History. History of the Place. Canarana/MT

Páginas: 144

Resumo: The teaching of History in Brazil has undergone significant changes in its form, content and objectives since its first format, in the early 19th century, until the second decade of the 21st century. Its objectives ranged from the consolidation of the patriotic feeling, through the formation centered on the student of the Pedagogia Nova, by the formation of a passive workforce of the Pedagogia Tecnicista and, finally, by the development of the autonomous thinking of the student present in the BNCC. Teacher training, school organization and the list of contents covered largely reflect the objectives proposed in each of the periods. In the current educational context, the need to discuss the historicity of each subject in their context is highlighted. Thus, the importance of works related to memory and Oral History is highlighted as a subsidy for the construction and study of the History of the Place. This work is dedicated to building a possibility of approach to the study of the History of Canarana/MT in the school context. In general, the History of Canarana has been built and presented by the official media as a result of the colonization promoted by small farmers from Rio Grande do Sul who settled in unoccupied or underused land and built the city as it is today. The use of the Oral History research methodology can add relevant elements to the construction of the History of Canarana, since it provides an opportunity to investigate the motivations, perceptions and trajectories of people, non-southern migrants, who are part of the diversity present in the formation of the society of Canarana and who, many times, are relegated to some supporting role in the official narratives of History. Realizing that the ways of doing History, including in the school context, have varied a lot in recent centuries, the reflection on these changes cannot escape the historian's craft. In a context of plurality of ideas, the teaching of History is also seen as plural and diverse. And, in line with the development of educational proposals found at the BNCC, the use of Oral History for the study of issues related to Memory and the History of Place, is one of the possibilities that meets the idea of autonomy of thought of the student and the production of their own history and identity.

Título: OS CHIQUITANO E A CONSTRUÇÃO DE CÁCERES-MT: HISTÓRIA, MEMÓRIA E VALORIZAÇÃO

Palavras-chave: Chiquitano. Vila Maria do Paraguai.

Título: HISTORY EDUCATION AND THE VARGAS GOVERNMENT (1930-1945): AN ANALYSIS OF CHARGES

Palavras-chave: ProfHistoria. History teaching. Historical school knowledge. Charges. Vargas government (1930-1945). BNCC.

Páginas: 127

Resumo: The main objective of this dissertation is the use of cartoons in the teaching of History. From the analysis of the main documents referring to Brazilian education in the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century, we find that only recently, based on the National Curriculum Parameters (PCN), the Law of Basic Guidelines Law 9394/96 (LDB) and the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC) is that the concern with teaching methods that use historical sources and document analysis came to be considered competences and skills that should guide the practice of history teachers in schools. Thus, following these guidelines, we made a selection of cartoons published between 1930 and 1945, a period known as the Vargas government, which portray the main political events that have become historical facts. The cartoons were selected through the National Library website, section Hemeroteca, and the periodical we chose was the illustrated magazine Careta. This work fits into the theoretical field of the history of the imaginary, and emphasizes the importance of using iconographic sources for the construction of historical school knowledge, where students, teachers and school, in a dialectical way, problematize, question, re-signify and produce original knowledge from of prescribed curricula.

Título: HISTORY TEACHING AND FACEBOOK: IMPLICATIONS IN THE HISTORICAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF STUDENTS OF THE THIRD YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL IN MIRASSOL D ’OESTE

Palavras-chave: Historical awareness; History didactics; appreciation of the human.

Páginas: 127

Resumo: The present professional master dissertation ProfHistória, whose line of research is Historical Languages and Narratives, has the general objective of understanding the human capacity to make politics and “read the world”, for this to occur it is important to understand politics as a historical factor with capacity to have a significant influence on people's lives, so that such capacity can flow in a more assertive way, it is necessary to try to answer the question: how to develop a pedagogical work with the posts, in the perspective of teaching history? In order to answer this question, it is necessary to direct the work towards the interpretation of narratives posted on the Facebook social network, whose focus in question was the teaching of history. Through action research, the teacher directs activities in a closed group on the social network, later collecting the narratives seeking to contextualize them with history and history teaching. We reinforced the discussions in section I on the action research methodology, the political issues that involve the teaching and learning process, seeking to make students understand the history involved in politics. We discussed the didactics of history, and briefly we presente authors who do not commune with Rüsen (2010, 2019) and Cerri (2011) about didactics and transposition. We discussed the concept of historical consciousness that is expressed through narratives, and that it is necessary to understand them, as well as to understand their temporal typologies. Such conceptions of teaching applied in the school context can be liberating, it can act in order to allow the subject to be a critic of his society, as well as to know his social role. It happens that to work with the development of it it is necessary to work with the substantive and second order concepts, work guided by historical literacy and the didactics of history, this is a theoretical knowledge that for many scholars of history teaching is a field of knowledge, an area of knowledge. The didactics of history also help in the development of historical awareness from the moment that it seeks to understand common, scientific and scholarly knowledge in order to propose the reflective debate on the growth of the subjects. We discussed learning environments, media, social networks, Facebook as a pedagogical tool, including the website itself presents tips to the teacher; facts that we commented on as well. In this dissertation, the valorization of the student's knowledge is abundantly explored with thinkers in education, psychology, history teaching and with possible connections between them. Human development is presented by theorists as: Barca (2019); Carrenho, Tassinari and Pinto (2010); Cerri, (2011); Fonseca (2011); Freire (1967, 2002); Lee (2006, 2016); Rogers (1985); Rüsen (2001, 2019); Schmidt (2009, 2010, 2014, 2019); of these the ones that were used the most, main pillars: Cerri (2011), Freire (1967, 2002), Rogers (1985) and Rüsen (2001, 2019). Furthermore, in the dissertation, ICTs are discussed a lot nowadays and their school and social consequences as a whole.

Título: BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND VOICES: PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES IN HISTORY TEACHING AND GENDER AND SEXUALITY ISSUES OUTSIDE THE CLOSET

Palavras-chave: Genre; Sexuality; History teaching

Páginas: 95

Resumo: This master's thesis is the result of research built within the scope of the Postgraduate Program Stricto Sensu, Professional Master's Degree in History Teaching – ProfHistória Nucleus of the University of the State of Mato Grosso – UNEMAT. The main motivator of this research was justified in the scenario of violence and discrimination that occur in the school context and the role of history teachers in promoting pedagogical practices aimed at contemporary differences and diversities. The general objective of this research was to identify if and how the themes of gender and sexuality are addressed in the pedagogical practices of history teachers from the Basic Education Network in the State of Mato Grosso. As a specific objective, we sought to identify how they are presented by the Curriculum Guidelines for Educational Diversities (2012) and the Curriculum Reference Document (2018), with regard to the use of the themes of gender and sexuality as a pedagogical principle. As a methodology for this research, we used an oral interview via oral history. Interviews were conducted with four teachers of history of Basic Education from the Public Network of the State of Mato Grosso (SEDUC/MT), about the theme of gender and sexuality and their pedagogical practices. The interviews were operated by thematic oral history (which prioritizes the scientific work focused on the voices of individuals who are historically excluded and silenced), recorded on the Google Meet platform, followed by the previously prepared interview script. In interpreting the teachers' reports, through the use of the concept of intersectionality, we sought to promote reflections that help in understanding the absence/presence of the gender and sexuality theme in the teaching of history. Through this investigation, we consider that the shy presence of discussions on gender and sexuality in the pedagogical practices of history teaching has contributed to resistance against the dominant forms of knowledge production and identity constitution. We understand that there is a scenario of silencing and erasure expressed by the lack of positioning and self-reflection of the pedagogical practices of teaching history with regard to the themes of gender and sexuality.

Título: Brazilian civil-military dictatorship and history teaching by dimensionof the journalistic articles of the newspaper “Correio Cacerense” (1968-1978)

Palavras-chave: Civil-Military Dictatorship; History teaching; Newspapers;History

Páginas: 153

Resumo: This research studies the ways in which the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship was broadcast in the news of Jornal Correio Cacerense, in the city ofCáceres / MT, as a support material for History Teaching. Analyzes ofpublications are centered on the influence of the press in the formulation of opinions ineveryday life of the city and the probable social and political interventions that took place duringthe regime, especially between 1968 and 1978. Considering that the sourcesdocuments are constituted as a memory about the events and thus, takingthe Correio Cacerense newspaper as a support for socio-historical memories, which is stillremembered and what was not known and / or forgotten about the Civil-Military Regime inCaceres? What political-social behaviors can these memories reveal? As theteaching history about the civil-military dictatorship is made possible by taking newspapers asobject of investigation and didactic-pedagogical knowledge about this recent past? What methodologies are possible to work on this theme, making history classesmore attractive and more understandable? What readings can students take about that timein the city of Cáceres when handling newspapers? To reflect on thesequestions, we resort to the authors Bittencourt (2011; 2017), Fonseca (2011), Schmidt andCainelli (2004), Fonseca (1993), among others, to discuss teaching history usingdocumentary sources. Thus, we understand that the use of printed media as a sourcefor teaching History opens up a range of possibilities to awaken understandingcriticism, a taste for reading practice and the construction of historical arguments instudent learning. The readings and debates about the news broadcast in thenewspapers help and favor students' proximity to local experiences, neighborhood, your city, your state, your country, with the possibility of making relationships and / orconnections with the world. From this perspective, we are thinking about teaching History from thejournalistic articles as a source of historical investigation, which contributes to amore consistent schooling in student citizenship. Finally, thinking aboutperspective of Historical Education, we are developing a Thematic UnitInvestigative, which consists of the elaboration of a didactic-pedagogical plan thatthe use of these documentary sources in history teaching practices.

Título: Memories and migratory iconographies in the composition of the History Teaching in Comodoro, Mato Grosso

Palavras-chave: Teaching of history. Local history. Comodoro / Mato Grosso

Páginas: 152

Resumo: Based on the assumption that history is of paramount importance for the education of students as critical and thinking citizens who know and understand the history of which they are part, this work is based on the issue of teaching history from the place, and aims to promote knowledge about the formation of the city of Comodoro, located in western Mato Grosso, as well as encouraging teachers of basic education in the municipality to include these contents in their classes, and students to understand themselves as part of this historical process that is constantly under construction . The teaching that leaves the place is anchored and is discussed with support in the various documents that govern Basic Education in Brazil and in the State of Mato Grosso. In view of this, and in accordance with State Law No. 5,573 / 90, which establishes the mandatory teaching of the subjects of History, Geography and Literature of Mato Grosso, “in 1st and 2nd grade schools, public or private”, which operate in the State, the present work aims to produce a historiography of the locality of Comodoro / MT through documents pertinent to the research theme, but it focuses on documentary interviews such as revisiting the memory of migrants from the most diverse regions of the country, between the 1970s and 1980. These, as migrants, settled and contributed to the formation of the Comoros society from a rural-urban nucleus that became the city of Comodoro, located in western Mato Grosso. Título: GAMIFICATION IN HISTORY TEACHING

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória. History teaching. Gamification.

Páginas: 127

Resumo: The purpose of this dissertation is to reflect and understand the use of Gamification as an active methodology in the Teaching of History, whose purpose is to enable student action in the construction of knowledge, since the current reality has revealed the need that young people and adolescents have the most appropriate forms of education. If we consider that the classroom can be seen with the idea of a “game”, in which the teacher has the role of teaching and students need to perform various tasks that give them a score or concept, so that in the end, they receive an award, that is, approval or disapproval at the end of the year. In this case, it would be interesting if we reflected on the following question: is this "game" a good "game"? To reflect and discuss this issue, authors who are references in History Teaching, such as Isabel Barca, Flávia Eloisa Caimi, Thais Nívia de Lima Fonseca, among others, were chosen. This is a bibliographical research, but participatory, because during the investigation several gamified classes were built together with the students' participation. Initially, a concise theoretical conceptualization with Maude Bonenfant, Sébastien Genvo and Luciane Maria Fadel et al., Among others, is presented. As this is an Active Methodology applied to History Teaching, a brief investigation was developed on this topic, related to gamification. Related to the context of history teaching for elementary school students in the final years, gamification is understood as a methodology that promotes protagonism and develops skills, enabling greater learning, as it operates as a motivating engine and makes students feel participants in the process. Understanding that the permanent dialogue on the use of gamification in the Teaching of History is a way to improve the professional practice of teachers who want to work with this methodology, it was the intention to build a book that presents this discussion and with suggestions for gamify history lessons. Finally, examples of gamification practice and learning games are used, used in history classes, among others, before and during the Covid-19 pandemic with analysis of the positive aspects and the problems identified.

Título: FROM LAGOA DAS CONCHAS TO SANTA RITA DO TRIVELATO: MEMORIES, NARRATIVES AND TEACHING LOCAL HISTORY

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória, history teaching, memory.

Páginas: 98

Resumo: The municipality of Santa Rita do Trivelato had its origin in the context of land policiesoccupation of the northern state of Mato Grosso in the 1970s. The place thatformerly known as Lagoa das Conchas was colonized by smallpeasants from the south of the country, more specifically from Paraná. These peasants wereseduced by the promise of cheap and fertile land, at the same timeforced to sell their areas in the south of the country to the large landowners who werepromoting the mechanization of agriculture and expansion of cultivation areas. In the context ofNational Security Doctrine, whose motto was “Integrate not to Deliver” through therepresentation elaborated on the “Agricultural Frontier” that was advertised as “free land”the state, many migrants have left their families and a life of uncertainty to plant innew lands from Mato Grosso dreams and achievements. Vila Trivelato was presented as theplace of opportunities, where progress and development were already taking place. THEconstruction of the BR -163 that would pass through the village was expected with great expectation, highway, the village would still be contemplated with the construction of a hydroelectric plant on the riverTeles Pires. This image constructed by the Colonizadora Trivelatto, disseminated throughbrokers and advertising in the cities of the state of Paraná, fostered the colonization of Vilaof Trivelato. However, the difficulties encountered by the first families that reachedVila de Trivelato caused many settlers to give up their areas, starting tosecond phase of settlement of the village. Thus, there are two groups in the city thatrequire for themselves the place of pioneers, forging a dispute between the official memoryrepresented in the speech of those who benefited from the enterprise, and the memorythose who do not accept the official memory, contesting and questioning the speechesby the dominant groups. Official memory seeks to create a collective identityfor the residents of the city, the statements of this memory reinforce the city as the land ofopportunities, passing on a message that everyone who works and is disciplinedmanage to overcome difficulties, especially financial ones, leaving the condition ofimpoverished emerging a discourse that does not represent the families that say they have arrivedfirst to the place and were not successful with and in the colonization. When studying historySanta Rita do Trivelato, the possibility of working inhistory of the municipal school history teaching focused on the narratives produced by thecity dwellers, understanding how the narratives that were created had as theirobjectives to institute truths and compose a unique history, without questions andquestions. And from the work with the oral sources, we will elaborate other stories, other plots and other meanings.

A brief discussion on historiography, through readings by José de Assunção Barros, Silvia Helena Zanirato and Michel Certeau and on the teaching of history, dialoguing with Circe Maria Fernandes Bittencourt, Selva Guimarães Fonseca, Flávia Eloisa Caimi, Maria Auxiliadora Schmidt, among others authors. The readings of Boris Kossoy, Solange Ferraz de Lima and Vânia Carneiro de Carvalho were fundamental to develop the analysis of the photographs and of Ecléa Bosi, Verena Alberti and Alistair Thomson that clarified the pathsof Oral History and provided support to understand the functioning of memory. In order to guide oral research, the following questions were proposed: How do women in Rio Branco narrate the time they lived during recent colonization? What is striking in your narratives? To understand the daily lives of women settlers, the authors Margareth Rago, Cristina Scheibe Wolff and Tereza de Lauretis were fundamental. Durval Muniz de Albuquerque inspired to historicize the formal and informal relationships, fundamental to understand Local History.José de Souza Martins highlighted the need to understand the formation of the space inhabited in and for human subjectivities. These authors strengthened the idea of analyzing the colonization of Rio Branco-MT by means of cultural history. Título: AS MARCAS DA TERRA NAS MEMÓRIAS E SABERES HISTÓRICOS: os calos do saber

Palavras-chave: ProfHistória. Ensino de História. Terra.
